The official name for this button is the seat belt height adjuster release button – but most people just call it the seat belt advance button or shoulder buckle release button.
And what is his task?
👉 Allows you to temporarily loosen the shoulder section of the seat belt - without having to unfasten it.
✅ What it does (and why it's brilliant)
When you press this small button, the seat belt retractor releases the tension, allowing the shoulder belt to move freely up or down – usually by about 15-30 cm.
