An effective way to clean a mop: baking soda.

An effective way to clean a mop    is to use baking soda    , which is useful in the kitchen at any time and for any occasion, as it allows you    to thoroughly disinfect and clean not only kitchen utensils    but also those used for washing floors. Simply pour    half a cup of baking soda    into a bucket of warm water and soak the cloths or mop for a few hours.    After the set time has elapsed, rinse    until the water runs clear. The mop can also be washed in the washing machine, always using baking soda. In this case, place the product in the detergent drawer, set the temperature to at least 70 degrees Celsius, and start the wash.

Vinegar and lemon eliminate germs, bacteria and unpleasant odors.

Another product you can use    to clean your mop is vinegar,    which removes any dirt and unpleasant odors    caused by bacteria    . Pour warm water into a container and add one cup of vinegar for every liter of water. Soak the mop or cloth for half an hour, then wring it out to remove all the water and any remaining dirt.

For a better clean,    add two tablespoons of baking soda to the water.    This will maximize the degreasing and disinfecting effect. After using the lemon, thoroughly clean the mop. Fill the container with water, add the juice of two lemons, then place the cloths and mop inside and let it sit for an hour. Then rinse.    Lemon is used not only to remove dirt, germs    , and bacteria, but also to combat unpleasant odors.

Water, ammonia and tea tree oil – the most suitable solution

Then, water and ammonia are used—a unique solution that effectively cleans the mop when it's heavily soiled.    A small amount is enough to keep the mop looking like new    . It's important to rinse the mop thoroughly to remove all traces of ammonia and ensure it's completely dry before storing. Storing it    while it's still wet can lead to unpleasant odors.

Another natural remedy that works is  tea tree oil, which has incredible antibacterial properties:  it is able to eliminate bad odors and clean the mop thoroughly.  Simply fill a container with warm water  , the juice of 2 lemons, then add a few drops of tea tree oil and leave the rags and mop to soak for half an hour. Finally, rinse them,  the result is fabulous  . What all these remedies have in common is that the cost is zero or almost zero. They are all super convenient remedies, which do not cause damage, do not ruin the floor if not rinsed properly, in short, they have no drawbacks.
