Preparation 1: Thyme infusion with lemon and honey

Ingredients

  • 1 sprig fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 cup of hot water

  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

  • 1 slice of lemon

Procedure

  1. Bring the water to a boil.

  2. Add the thyme, turn off the heat and leave to infuse for 5-7 minutes.

  3. Filter the infusion into a cup.

  4. If you like, add honey and lemon.

How to take it

Consume it hot once or twice a day to promote respiratory health and digestion.


Preparation 2: Thyme Massage Oil for Muscle Relief

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive or coconut oil

  • 10 drops of thyme essential oil

  • 1 teaspoon chopped dried thyme (optional)

Procedure

  1. Mix the vegetable oil with the thyme essential oil.

  2. If desired, add chopped dried thyme.

  3. Pour the mixture into a dark bottle and store it in a cool place.

How to use

Apply a small amount to tired muscles using circular motions, once daily or as needed. Avoid application on irritated or broken skin.

The infusion can be taken for short periods (about a week) to relieve mild symptoms, without exceeding 2-3 cups per day.
