Don't charge your phone when it's completely discharged. Charge it several times a day.
We use chargers from other manufacturers
Chargers are easily lost and damaged, so most people use cheaper, commercially available alternatives. This isn't a good idea because if the charger isn't genuine, the battery can be damaged more easily.
We don't clean often enough.
The display needs to be wiped down frequently, but the charging and headphone jacks also need dusting. They can also be cleaned with a toothpick.
